Several national organizations and initiatives are now using the TYO platform to help strengthen and develop their programs. Our newest partner is the Natural Leaders Network. The Natural Leaders Network is an initiative of TYO founding partner The Children and Nature Network and is focused on empowering a worldwide youth movement to strengthen the bond between children and nature.

The movement involves youth in all environments, from rural to urban, and all economic and ethnic groups. Their vision is to build and cultivate a network among Natural Leaders around the world that mobilizes young people to get outdoors and makes sure our nation’s leaders know how much they value those experiences.

TYO has created custom learning paths for the Natural Leaders to support their amazing work. There are now 250 Natural Leaders in 47 states, many of whom are TYO members. Head to the TYO PEOPLE page to connect and collaborate with one of the Natural Leaders in your region.

Earlier this month, The Natural Leaders Network held its annual Legacy Camp at the USF&WS National Conservation Training Center. Each year the Legacy camp trains 50 new Natural Leaders to return to their home communities with the tools, strategies, and ideas, to engage others in nature-based experiences.
